J's Art Gallery
Materials used for this art piece include: 12x36 Styrofoam board, found materials such as a alteration to a rosary necklace and acrylic paint, a big tarp, paper towels, Styrofoam ball for the head, and lots of glue and water to cover the tarp to form octopus in a plastic container (leaving it overnight to dry in warm weather for next day to stretch)
Techniques used include: applying a flow of hot glue to the octopus, necklace, and found utensils, big brushstrokes for the purple violet octopus, use of unique ocean colors for the background
Composition: this work was inspired by my trip to Atlanta Georgia aquarium as I enjoy being under the ocean tunnel floor looking up at the different sea creatures so I created this octopus with a necklace.
