Scream island to me, feels like a fever dream from being a kid in the 1990s who fell asleep while reading an art history book. It's a great mix of High Art and High Speed. Edvard Munch's famous figure from The Scream is on the left. Instead of being on a bridge in Oslo, he is stuck in the pixelated world of a video game. The sky isn't just a sunset; it's a colorful, layered atmosphere that looks like a background from an old platformer game.
Important Parts:

The Checkerboard Cliff: The red and black pattern on the left is a clear reference to the classic "checkerboard" landscape from Sonic the Hedgehog. The cut pieces' physical texture gives the cliff a 3D "pop" that makes the digital world feel real.

The Tropical Despair: On the right, we see a lonely palm tree on a small island and a pale, jagged shark (or maybe a Badnik) hiding in the blue. It makes the original painting's existential dread into a "level hazard."

The Vibe: It's a funny take on being angry. When we're down to our last life and a pixelated shark is getting closer, we all feel like that screaming person.
